CHABAH YELMANI
Chabah's passion for art began at the tender age of 8 when he first encountered the exquisite La Louve allaitant Romulus et Remus sculpture from the Renaissance period at the Louvre. Captivated by its beauty, this early experience ignited his lifelong fascination with art and fueled his desire to deepen his knowledge and understanding. He pursued his passion academically, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Expertise & Art Business from the esteemed IESA Parisian Art School, specializing in paintings and works on paper from Modern and Contemporary Art periods and studied a Bachelor's degree in History of Art at Paris I Pantheon-La Sorbonne in Paris.
With over 18 years of experience in the art market, Chabah has worked across various facets of the industry, from prestigious auction houses to renowned institutions like the Fondation Louis Vuitton. His career has taken him to the most significant international art fairs, including Frieze, Art Basel (Basel, Hong Kong, Miami), TEFAF (Maastricht & New York), and FIAC Paris.
More recently, he served as the Director of the prestigious Karsten Greve Gallery in Paris for seven years, where he cultivated strong relationships with top galleries, auction houses, museums, foundations, collectors, and industry partners. Recognized for his discerning eye and ability to offer precise, insightful advice, Chabah decided to establish YFAC: Yelmani Fine Art Consultancy LLC in Dubai in 2024, bringing his expertise and passion for art to a new audience.
